Yehen's Villa is on Ranaviru Anuruddha Mawatha, a quiet lane in Unawatuna 80600, about 100 metres from the main road. Unawatuna railway station is 350 metres away, Unawatuna Beach 1.7 km and Galle Fort about 5 km, so the beach and the fort are both a short tuk-tuk ride.

Galle Fort is about 5 km away, usually a short tuk-tuk or car ride depending on traffic. Many guests explore the fort, the lighthouse, the ramparts and the museums by day, then come back to a quiet garden and a private pool in the evening instead of staying inside the busy fort.

The villa has two apartments with separate entrances. Each has two air-conditioned double bedrooms with en suite bathrooms and sleeps up to four. Book both and the whole villa sleeps up to eight in four extra-large double beds, with two sofa beds available for extra flexibility.

Yes. The 30 ft by 12 ft pool sits in the villa's own secure garden and is used only by guests staying at the villa. Book the whole villa and it is entirely yours. The pool has a shallow end and underwater lights, and guests love an evening swim after dark.

Check-in is from 12:00 to 23:00 and check-out is by 11:00. Please tell us your arrival time in advance. An early luggage drop or a later check-out can often be arranged when nobody arrives straight after you, so just ask on WhatsApp before your stay.

Every bedroom is air-conditioned and has a ceiling fan and a mosquito net, and the living areas have ceiling fans. The villa has fibre-optic Wi-Fi, which guests often describe as fast, plus satellite TV, so streaming films or doing some remote work in the evening is easy.

Yes. Each apartment has its own kitchen with a fridge, oven, gas hob and kettle, along with pots, pans, crockery and cutlery. Supermarkets and inexpensive local restaurants are within walking distance, and food delivery apps such as PickMe Food deliver to the villa if you would rather stay in.

Yes, children of any age are welcome. The large lawn gives children room to play and the pool has a shallow end, though children should always be supervised near water. We have no standard cots, but we have arranged a baby bed with a mosquito net before, so ask when you book.

Yes. We can arrange a paid private transfer from Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB) near Colombo, or from Koggala Airport, which is 9 km away. Send your flight number and arrival time on WhatsApp and we will confirm the price and the driver before you travel.

Yes, free private parking is available on site, inside the villa gate. If you are hiring a car or a scooter you can leave it safely within the grounds. We are also happy to help you arrange scooter hire or a driver for day trips along the south coast.

Bonavista Beach is about 1.3 km away, Jungle Beach 1.5 km and Unawatuna Beach 1.7 km. Tuk-tuks wait on the main road, 100 metres from the lane, and the ride to Unawatuna Beach takes around five minutes. Some guests prefer the walk of roughly fifteen to twenty minutes.

Pets are not allowed at the villa, although assistance animals are welcome. The garden already has plenty of wildlife of its own: guests regularly spot peacocks, monkeys, squirrels, lizards and many birds from the pool terrace, which is one of the things people remember most about their stay.

No. Parties and events are not allowed, and we cannot accommodate stag, hen or similar parties. Keeping the lane quiet for neighbours and other guests is part of what makes the villa so peaceful. Families and friends simply relaxing together by the pool are, of course, very welcome.

Yes, guests often stay a week or longer. For extended stays the apartment is cleaned weekly with fresh sheets and towels, and there is a washing machine and a dedicated workspace. Supermarkets and cafés are close by. Ask on WhatsApp for a weekly or monthly quote.
