A family home, opened to guests
Yehen's Villa is run by Sashike and family, who live in Unawatuna. We built the villa to share our corner of the south coast with travellers who want space, privacy and a pool of their own.
Our story
Newly built, quietly located
Yehen’s Villa opened its doors to guests in 2021. It is a modern two-storey house with two self-contained apartments, set in a large garden on Ranaviru Anuruddha Mawatha, a quiet lane just off the main road in Unawatuna.
We wanted the villa to feel like a home rather than a hotel: proper kitchens, comfortable beds, fast Wi-Fi, and a 30 ft pool where you can swim under the palms by day or under the lights at night.
The garden borders the green slopes towards Rumassala, so you share it with peacocks, langur monkeys, squirrels and a great many birds. Guests tell us it is the thing they remember most.
